Voiceland & Humanity Greece: Empowering volunteering through technology

In the world of volunteering, effective communication is essential. For the NGO Humanity Greece, which is always on the front lines during natural disasters or humanitarian crises, fast and direct communication is a key ally. Rapid response and the proper management of requests from people in need are at the core of the organization’s mission, with volunteers trained to handle these requests through the telephone helpline.

Recognizing this need, Voiceland, through its corporate social responsibility program, supported Humanity Greece with a donation worth 10.000€ in telecommunications services and technological equipment.

Voiceland’s commitment to corporate social responsibility

Voiceland is more than just a fixed telephony provider. It is a company that understands its social responsibility and invests in initiatives with meaningful social impact. In this context, a year ago, it donated technological infrastructure to Humanity Greece, ensuring that the organization could respond promptly to calls for help.

The sponsorship includes:

  • 1 Cloud PBX

  • 2 geographic numbers in Greece

  • Talk time worth 4.000€

  • Technical support for every request

  • Telephone devices and headsets

The numbers say it all

With Voiceland’s support, Humanity Greece’s call center has handled over 23.020 calls, of which 3.700 occurred during the wildfire season (May – October 2024), with an impressively low average response time of just 33 seconds.

This means that Voiceland’s technology has contributed to the immediate management of critical incidents, significantly enhancing Humanity Greece’s operational effectiveness.
